Coach and Ph.D Student Set On Developing Health & Wellness Opportunties For All

Seokhyun has done Taekwondo since he was 11 years old. He wanted to be a professional player, but gave up becoming a player due to frequent injuries and instead went to college to become a trainer to help people recover from injury. After graduating from university, Seokhyun worked at a hospital. When his father became disabled due to a stroke, he became interested in the field and began working in sport and rehabilitation sport sites for the disabled. He has now worked as a trainer and coach in the disabled sports field for 11 years.

Seokhyun’s mission is to manage health programs for people with autism, intellectual disabilities, and physical disabilities to help them make progress toward independence and empowerment through sports.
