Bridging Worlds: Elevating Sports Diplomacy and Gender Equality on the Global Stage
With a robust career spanning roles in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, where she served as Adviser to the Minister and worked extensively in public relations and communication, Mia Bacic currently holds pivotal positions in the Croatian Olympic Committee (COC).
She currently serves in the COC as Adviser to the President and Director of the Office for International Relations and Corporate Communications, showcasing her expertise in strategic communication and global engagement.
In addition to pursuing her doctoral thesis on Media and Politics, Mia is passionate about leveraging sports diplomacy, aiming to establish a dedicated department to promote Croatia internationally and empower female athletes through education and opportunity.
Her dedication extends to her role as Secretary of the Commission for Gender Equality within the Croatian Olympic Committee, underscoring her commitment to fostering inclusivity and equality in sports.
