Marisol Rodriguez Hernandez is a distinguished Social Impact Leader at Club Tigres, one of Mexico’s premier soccer teams.

With 16 years of experience in the sports industry, Marisol has become a pivotal force in advancing the Club’s Social Impact, Sustainability, and Human Resources initiatives. Throughout her career, Marisol has spearheaded transformative projects that have garnered significant acclaim.

Notably, she led the successful eradication of homophobic shouting at Tigres Stadium in 2017, an achievement that set a precedent in stadium conduct. Her approach to social responsibility earned Club Tigres the SportBiz LATAM 2021 award for the best social responsibility campaign.

In 2022, Marisol’s outstanding contributions were recognized when she received the Latin American Social Leader Award in Vienna, Austria, the region’s highest honor for social leadership.

In her role, Marisol is dedicated to enhancing Tigres’ Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy through the Tigres Foundation, where she designs and implements multisector programs that focus on education, quality of life, equity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability across Mexico.

Marisol’s personal mission is to harness the power and visibility of soccer to drive meaningful social change by creating impactful programs to support and uplift vulnerable communities.

Marisol will be mentored by Maria Soares, Senior Vice President, Production and Content Strategy and her team at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut.
