Personal Experience Drives His Desire For Inclusion

Łukasz was born in a small town called Węgrów in eastern Poland. He grew up in a family of nine. From an early age, his sister took him to meet children from low-income families and people with disabilities. Even then, he already found satisfaction in giving of himself and working with children. He finished school, and until then, life was straightforward. But he fell ill with psoriasis in the final year of his schooling, which thwarted many of his life plans. He had been looking for an effective medicine and a new reality for many years. In 2016, he received biological treatment and returned to full fitness, thus allowing him to devote himself more intensively on other levels, including his work with people with disabilities.

Professionally, Łukasz has worked in a diverse number of positions, including as a DJ and a journalist. Still, one of his most important endeavors began in 2014 when he started working with Amp Futbol Polska. Today, apart from being the man responsible for the publicity and running of tournaments, he is also a league committee member and the coordinator of the Polish women’s national team in Amputee Football, the first league of its kind in Europe. Today, he works in the marketing department of the Warsaw Orthopedic Equipment Works, which hopes to engage patients through sport in the future.

Lukasz’s mission is to change the world and make it pleasant and fair for everyone, regardless of origin, gender, religion, or disability. “If each of us did a good deed for another person daily, the world would be better.”
