From a young age, Nicky van den Bos has been a passionate sports enthusiast, participating in a wide array of activities and building a career that revolves around her love for sports.
As CEO of Women in Sport Aotearoa, Nicky is focused on advancing equity for women and girls in sport throughout New Zealand. She is a strong believer in the positive impact of physical activity on individuals’ lives and feels fortunate to work in a field she is deeply passionate about.
Looking ahead, Nicky aims to lead a prominent national sports organization and continue her development in governance.
Her career goal is to give back to the communities that have significantly influenced her life, ensuring that future generations have access to the same opportunities and support that she has been privileged to receive.
Nicky will be mentored by Susan Cohig, Executive Vice President of Club Business Affairs and her team at the National Hockey League (NHL) in New York City.
