Unleashing Potential: A Bold Mission to Empower Women and Transform Communities

Daiany França Saldanha is a distinguished leader in sports for development and female empowerment, serving as the Founder and CEO of Líderes Esportivos and Mais Impacto.

In 2022, Daiany was honored as one of three Brazilians to win the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) global competition, organized by the United States Department of State. The previous year, she was recognized as one of the 18 Young Leaders of the Americas (YLAI), also by the Department of State. Her NGO, Instituto Esporte Mais, was awarded “Best Organization for Empowering Women Through Sport” at the Non-Profit Organisation Awards in 2023.

Daiany’s mission is to spread knowledge and financial resources to support sports leaders, with a particular focus on women from marginalized communities. She is dedicated to creating equitable opportunities and fostering leadership skills among these women, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to succeed.

Through her work at Líderes Esportivos, Daiany strives to empower and uplift those often overlooked, driving social change and promoting inclusivity within the sports industry. Her commitment to these causes reflects her broader vision of achieving social impact through sports and empowering women to reach their full potential.

Daiany will be mentored by Julie Eddleman, EVP, Global Chief Commercial Officer, DoubleVerify, Diane Cummins, Senior Consultant, Simpactful, and their team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Julie Eddleman is the EVP, Global Chief Commercial Officer at DoubleVerify (DV), where she leads DV’s commercial organization worldwide. Prior to working at DV, Julie was a Global Client Partner at Google and Marketing Director of North America Brand Operations at Proctor & Gamble. She received her B.S. in consumer affairs and M.S. in consumer behavior, both from Purdue University. Julie has served as a GSMP mentor since the program began in 2012.
